JUNO Nominee Concert
Host: Mountain View Arts Society
Description: THREE great performers coming to Didsbury! Two "Back by Popular Demands" and a JUNO Nominee! Joal Kamps performed at the 2016 Arts Festival, and Ruth Purves-Smith was on the Stampede Stage back in 2012. Headliner: John Wort Hannam, JUNO nominee, Canadian Folk Music Award, a Galaxie Rising Star Award and a Kerrville Texas New Folk Songwriting Grand Prize winner. Plus, Hannam's song, "Man of God", was included in Canada's Truth and Reconciliation Commission's compilation project of songs and poems about the legacy of Residential Schools. Your evening begins at 6:30 pm with the husband/wife duo, Lauren and Joal Kamps.
