ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Sundre Choir
Host: Sundre Community Choir
Description: Sundre Community Choir meets every week on Tuesdays at the Sundre United Church from 7 - 9 pm. The group practices weekly and sings at several events at Christmastime. We just sing for fun. Happiness is singing in a choir.

New season meeting
Host: Olds Art Club
Description: Hi, Artist Friends! On behalf of our Art Club Executive, you are cordially invited to our Welcome BBQ and AGM Social and Potluck to be held at Caroline and Hugh Bodmer's home, 48 Lake Ridge in Olds, from 6-8:30. Please bring whatever you wish to BBQ for dinner and/or a contribution to POT LUCK. Plates and cutlery will be provided, along with some beverages, and the usual condiments. Spouses and friends are welcome. Our meeting will be held after dinner. Please consider taking a turn on any of the committees and roles up for election and appointment. Treasurer Anne will be taking registration at $70 again this year, so if you bring your cheque book or cash, that can get looked after before the meeting so you are entitled to vote and before the first class on October 3 at 7 pm start at the Art Room, TransCanada Theatre. We look forward to another exciting year.
