Newcomers and Money

Description: Money Matters for Newcomers and New Canadians on November 21 and 28. This program includes information for those who are new to Canada's banking and credit systems. This program is FREE. Please pre-register.

GED Preparation
Host: Mountain View Communities Adult Learning Society
Description: Join this evening class with other adult learners and prepare to challenge your General Equivalency Diploma exam. Academic Express videoconferenced classroom delivery is supported by a trained GED facilitator to get you through trouble spots. If you're an Albertan 18 years of age or older and have been out of school for at least one year: this program may be for you. Free to those who qualify. Funded by the Alberta Advanced Education Part-time Studies grant. Register for this Fall session online by September 28 at mvcals.org Limited spots.

Canada 150 Moose
Host: Town of Didsbury
Description: Canada 150 Paint Night. Bring your family and enjoy an evening of creativity and fun! Canada 150 committee provides all supplies needed to create your moose masterpiece. This is a FREE paint night in honour of Canada 150. Painted moose will be displayed on the chain link fence just east of Ross Ford Elementary. Please register to let us know you will be attending.
