Tasty Pages
Host: Olds Municipal Library
Description: Travel the world of cookbooks the first Thursday of each month. Tasty Pages Cookbook Club is a chance to try out various recipes with the support of a group of enthusiastic home cooks. Bring a sample of your favorite recipes based on the monthly theme. Talk about your best (and worst) cooking/baking experiences. Share a bite and enjoy the camaraderie.. This year we continue with our cookbooks in international flavour. January: Mexican Feburary: French March: Irish April: African May: Russian / East Europe June: Asian

Evergreen Singers
Host: Olds and District Evergreen Club
Description: "The Olds Evergreen Singers" is a seniors choir. What you need? Membership of "The Olds and District Evergreen Club" (50 year and up), $12.00 for the choir and $ 0.50 weekly for your coffee and goodies. Experience is not a must. A good sense of humor and love for music is the start. We are looking for man singers ).

Needle Felting
Host: Community Engagement Site
Description: Join Lori Eslinger as we explore the versatile art of needle felting and create a number of 3D sculptures. Everything you need to get you started will be provided (various colours of wool, needles, foam pad) - no experience necessary, just come and have some fun. Rising Strong
Host: Hope Pointe Community Church, a church of the Nazarene
Description: RISING STRONG Workshop Begins Thurs., April 5, 7pm Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, our 6-week workshop helps anyone dealing with a life transition, personal or professional setback or disappointment get back up with more courage, creativity and connection. If we are brave enough, often enough, we will fail. Rising Strong is about what it takes to get back up and how owning our stories of struggle gives us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be the clearest path to a wholehearted life.
