ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Art Show and Sale
Host: Mountain View Arts Society
Description: A Brush with Art Spring Art Show and Sale, held in conjunction with the Didsbury Art, Travel and Trade Expo. Featuring visual artists and artisans from Mountain View County and the surrounding region. Proceeds from any art sales at the Show and Sale go directly to the individual artist(s). Trade Show
Host: Didsbury Chamber of Commerce
Description: 33rd Annual Didsbury Art, Travel, and Trade Expo, April 7 and 8. Kick-off Saturday with a Pancake Breakfast from 8 - 10 am in the A Taste of Didsbury Food Court. CK-fm 96.5 Country Star Search Finale in the food court from 12 - 4:30 pm. Hourly door prizes. Over 100 exhibits. A Brush with Art Art Show and Sale in the Curling Rink, presented by the Mountain View Arts Society. Vote for your People's Choice. Fiddler's Jamboree on Sunday from 1 - 4 pm. Admission to all activities: Adults - $5 Seniors - $4 Students - $3 9 and Under, Free. Free Parking.

Host: Olds Municipal Library
Description: Join other yarn crafters at the library and help launch our new community group. We will meet the first Saturday of each month. New to yarn craft? Don't be shy. All experience levels are welcome! There are even opportunities to use your crafty talent for a good cause. Hooks and needles welcome.
