Volunteer Social
Host: Didsbury Neighborhood Place
Description: Every member of our community has both an opportunity and the ability to build Didsbury, the community in which they live, work and play. And hundreds of Didsburians do exactly that, by volunteering for organizations and at events that they love! Volunteers are wonderful. Didsbury Bethany Care, Alberta Health Services, and Didsbury FCSS are saluting those volunteers that make our community thrive. This is a "Come 'n Go" event, with refreshments and snacks provided, door prizes and gift bags available for the attendees! Come in and tell folks what groups you like volunteering with. Is it the Agricultural Society, the Lions Club, the Mountain View Arts Festival, Show and Shine? Maybe the Chamber of Commerce or at your church. Or the Library, the Golf Club, at the hospital or museum or one of the schools. Or maybe with our kids through minor sports like lacrosse, soccer, baseball, hockey, and figure skating, or with the Scouts or 4-H. The list goes on and on. The community could not survive without the passion and dedication of our volunteers. Come to the Appreciation Event and let the Town let you know how much you mean to them.
Location: Main Level of Bethany Didsbury, in the beautiful Atrium at 1201 - 15th Avenue - 1 - 3 pm
Contact: Alayna McMane - Phone: 403-335-8719 - E-mail: dnp@didsbury.ca
