ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Description: Didsbury High School Drama students AND ALUMNI present Death of a Hot Sauce Salesman, a Murder Mystery, Dinner Theatre, and Silent Auction. Tickets $30 per person. A fun-filled evening. Rated PG 14 plus. Written by Michael Druce and directed by Cali Beazley.

Lions Auction
Host: Didsbury Lions Club
Description: Lions Annual fundraising auction, Saturday April 28th at the Curling Rink. There's usually well over 80 registered buyers and probably 200 items sold, so you'll want to get there early to have a look-see at all the items. There will be lots of new and used items, all in good condition. Also some gift certificates, household, tools, furniture, collectibles, paintings. Lots of unique items, and some of the items are brand new and still in the original packaging. Hosted by Pilgrim Auction. It is a nice time for everybody and the Lions get to help our community. The items will be auctioned off one at a time in a live-auction setting. The Lions support the Shuttle Bus, and also provide help with disaster relief and medical crises. If any person or business would like to donate gently-used items for sale at the auction, please contact John at 403-556-5531.
Location: Didsbury Curling Rink, 1702 21 Ave - Viewing starts at 11 am with lunch available by the Lions Club. The auction itself begins at 12 noon.
