Description: "The Olds Evergreen Singers" is a seniors choir. What you need? Membership of "The Olds and District Evergreen Club" (50 year and up), $12.00 for the choir and $ 0.50 weekly for your coffee and goodies. Experience is not a must. A good sense of humor and love for music is the start. We are looking for man singers ). Our concert is planned for May 25, 2018 at 07:00 p.m.

Grief Recovery
Host: Mountain View Emergency Shelter
Description: If your heart is broken, if you have experienced any loss, the Grief Recovery Method may be what you're looking for. If you can make an 8 week commitment, if you're willing to do the reading and homework, and if you're willing to feel the feelings, this could be for you. Cost: Free. Group starts today and runs on Thursdays until June 29th. This program is offered through MVES, but your loos does NOT have to be related to our services. Please pre-register.

Spring Clean Up Week
Host: Town of Olds
Description: Spring Clean Up Week runs May 14 - 18. An annual program where normal garbage volume limits are waived and residents can place excess or bulky household material at the curbside for collection. Only residents who receive Olds weekly garbage collection service are eligible to participate. During this week, on your regular Black Bin Day, the Town's Operational Services staff will pick up the following extra household and yard waste that does not fit into your black bin: Bundles of branches tied up neatly in 2 foot lengths, All materials bagged or bundled neatly. All extra garbage must be placed beside your Black Bin. Do not place garbage in your Blue or Green bins. All items must be clearly labeled for pickup. Crews will not go into yards to pick up garbage.
