ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Ice Cream Social
Host: Didsbury Historical Society
Description: In conjunction with FCSS the Museum will be saluting Seniors with an ice cream social. Come for the ice cream and take time to tour the Museum. Everyone welcome.

Srs Week Event
Host: Olds and District Evergreen Club
Description: Seniors Week is June 3 - 9. Today's event is at the Evergreen Centre from 12 - 1 pm. Lunch, followed by "Our Legacy, Our Story", with Mary Hays at 1 pm. Meet the characters from the history pages of the Olds Story. Turn your calendar back to the year 1890, as Mary Shannon joins Billie Dean to tell tales of days gone by. Hosted by the Town of Olds.

Westglen BandConcert
Host: Westglen Middle School
Description: Westglen Middle School band students are gearing up to put on a performance to a packed crowd in the gym. You just get thinking it can't get better than the previous year, but every year the kids rise to the occasion and knock it out of the park. That's what you can expect when you take in this fabulous concert. Students from Grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 will be performing. More kids are walking to school with instruments then ever before, as the reputation of the school band programs in Didsbury continue to grow. In addition, parents will be selling tickets for front row VIP comfy couch seats for you and your family. Tickets will be $2 per entry for the draw, and sold at the concert. Names of the lucky winners will be drawn at the beginning of the concert. All proceeds go towards the band program to help support transportation costs, instrument replacement, etc. Admission is by donation.
