Humane Grand Opening
Host: Wild Rose Humane Society
Description: We've all been waiting and now it's happening! The Wild Rose Humane Society is hosting their Grand Opening and Didsburians are eager to see the new facility! WRHS believes that opening a shelter only solves a small part of a problem that is much bigger than simply providing temporary accommodation for homeless pets. The Humane Society building is located at 13 Co-op Road, north of 15th Avenue near the high school. It offers a fostering and adoption service covering the areas of Innisfail to Airdrie, Sundre to Highway 21, with the main office right here in Didsbury. In October of 2016, Didsbury Town Council of the day approved a $50,000 loan to help get the animal shelter off the ground. With this support of Didsbury's residents, the Humane Society volunteers have worked tirelessly to bring a much needed shelter to the area. They are excited to invite the public to their Grand Opening and Open House. The event runs from 11 am - 2 pm, so come any time during those times to learn more. Remember, if you're an animal lover who wants to put their passion to good use, the Humane Society would love to have you join their group of volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact Shauna or Dean The Wild Rose Humane Society was established as a non-profit organization in 2007 by a group of dedicated volunteers, to address a need for an animal shelter in the area.
Location: 13 Co-op Road, Didsbury - 11 am - 2 pm

Hours are 8am-8pm daily. Come on up to the course for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner on the patio and enjoy the sun!
