ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Tea in the Garden
Host: Grandmothers for Grandmothers Mountainview
Description: Tea in a Country Garden happens Sunday July 29 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Grandmothers for Grandmothers Mountainview cordially invite you to the home of Jean Whittaker for tea and a lovely garden tour. Donations are gratefully accepted. The funds raised directly support grandmothers in Africa who are raising their grandchildren orphaned by AIDS. Further information at Stephen Lewis Foundation. Directions from Didsbury: 6 miles west on 582, 1 mile south on 766, 1 miles west then 1/4 mile south on range road 3.2. From Carstairs: west on blind line to 766, 3 miles north, 1 mile west and 13/4 mile north on range road 3.2. From Highway 22: take 582 east to 766 then south and follow the directions above. ** Not wheelchair accessible**. A huge thank you to our communities for their support in the past.
