Downtown Parade
Host: Didsbury Elks Lodge
Description: It's Rodeo Weekend in Didsbury and it wouldn't be complete without the annual Parade hosted by Didsbury's Elks Lodge. The parade begins at 11 am and runs on 20th Avenue and 20th Street. The theme for this year's parade is saluting the Didsbury Museum and their 40 Years of Preserving our Heritage. After the parade, stay downtown and shop in some of our great stores before you head out to the fairgrounds for the rodeo. It's going to be a great weekend in Didsbury! Line up for floats is at 14th Street and 20th Avenue (near the hospital) beginning at 10 am.

Dropped Stitches
Host: Olds Municipal Library
Description: Join other yarn crafters at the library and help launch our new community group. We will meet the first Saturday of each month. New to yarn craft? Don't be shy. All experience levels are welcome! There are even opportunities to use your crafty talent for a good cause. Hooks and needles welcome. Whether you love to knit or prefer to crochet, our group is open to all stitching enthusiasts. Mature teens are also welcome to join the fun. Drop in and join us. FREE
