ARTS SOCIETY Didsbury's Not For Profit Society of 2015!

The Mountain View Arts Society is a group of volunteers in Didsbury and the surrounding region who support the arts, whether by hosting events or facilitating in the promotion of artists, musicans, writers, and dancers in Mountain View County.
Contact any member of the Board of Directors if you would like to volunteer with the Society, or participate in one of our events.
We invite you to buy a membership in the Society and help us promote arts, culture and heritage in Didsbury, Olds, Sundre, Carstairs, and Cremona Alberta, and their surrounding communities.
Coming Events include the Art Show & Sale held during the Didsbury Trade Show in April and the Mountain View Arts Festival in September. Tell us your event and we'll help promote it too.

Country Christmas
Host: Didsbury Chamber of Commerce
Description: The town of Didsbury is quite possibly the most beautifully decorated community in Alberta during the Christmas season. The ambience created by an evening event is second-to-none, and the best thing of all is the great feeling you get while celebrating the wonder of the Christmas season with your family, friends and neighbours. Great shopping, food, fun, and family activities. Usual activities include pictures with Santa Claus at the Train Station. Horse Drawn Wagon rides throughout the evening, and Turkey Draws.

Book Sale
Host: Friends of the Didsbury Library Society
Description: 000s of books at your fingertips! Come to the Friends of the Didsbury Library Office and stock up on your summer reading material! You'll find as many as 15,000 books on the floor, so you should be able to find exactly what you're looking for! Great bargains on books, magazines, CDs, audio books - all sorted into categories like History, Cooking, Landscaping, Drama - you name it, they'll probably have it for you! Payment is by donation, so whatever you are comfortable giving, the Friends are happy to receive. All proceeds go to the Didsbury Municipal Library. Free parking. Masks are not required but we will limit numbers of patrons in the venue to 15 at a time and will ask that they sanitize their hands when entering and leaving the sale.

Host: Olds Regional Exhibition
