Community Clean-Up
Host: Town of Didsbury
Description: Time to gear up once again for Didsbury's annual Spring Clean-Up. Being held the week of May 29th to June 3rd - hopefully “ole man Winter” has vacated us by then! Residents are encouraged to clean up their properties and take advantage of the Landfill Days. The Town encourages everyone to take advantage of this time and show your community spirit in helping to beautify our town - lending a helping hand to a neighbour - and being proud of where we live! All you have to do for all these special days is to REGISTER FOR YOUR TICKETS before Friday, May 26th at 12 noon. By registering for your tickets online, you can choose to apply the the cost of each ticket to your May utility bill, which you will receive in June or send an e-transfer to business(at)didsbury.ca (with name, address, and Community Cleanup in the memo). Residents may also purchase Community Cleanup tickets at the Town Office (1606 14th Street, Didsbury) during business hours or over the phone by credit card. The hours for "Landfill Days" are Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. May 30th is "Appliance Day". The Town will collect appliances from your residence that day, providing it has been placed on the curb. Public Works crews will pick up for only $10 per appliance.
