Car Boot Sale
Host: Melvin Hall Society
Description: Now this is something you don't see in Didsbury very often - a Car Boot Sale! And this is exactly what the folks at the Melvin Hall Society will be hosting on June 17th! A Car Boot Sale is a market where people sell unwanted possessions from their cars. But what's a "Car Boot Sale" you ask? It is essentially a garage sale that you bring your goods to sell out of the trunk of your car (The English word for "trunk" is "boot"). For Sellers Reserve your spot for $10 for the day and you can benefit from the one-stop shopping. In addition to any of your own advertising you might want to do, Melvin Hall will be doing advertising too! To book space or any further questions, register online here. Instructions on e-transfers are on this link. For Buyers If you've got spring fever, this is definitely the place for you. You're bound to find household and garden goods. It's a great place to find useful but unwanted domestic items that otherwise might have been thrown away - recycled items you can put to use yourself! In true Melvin Hall fashion, there'll be other fun activities and attractions. Everything begins at 10 am. The Melvin Hall is located 13 km west of Didsbury on Hwy 582. You can visit the Melvin Hall on Facebook at facebook.com/melvinhallsociety.
