CoffeeandConversation
Host: Didsbury Historical Society
Description: Volunteers with the Didsbury and District Historical Society are all about having fun and love to host events and activities throughout the year that help us honour our Vision, which is to celebrate our heritage through interactive adventure and learning experiences. Held the third Wednesday of the month, Coffee and Conversation is one of the most popular monthly events in Didsbury, as people gather at the museum to visit with each other, and to learn about the history of our town, and the individuals who have made our county so rich and beautiful. One of Didsbury's residents, Rochelle Byiers, will be sharing some of her experiences as a great navigator of spectacular vacation spots! February's Coffee and Conversation takes place on Wednesday, February 21st. Rochelle's love of travel started at the age of 13 when she ventured down the West Coast with her 21 year old aunt in a beat up VW Beetle. Over the years her travels have taken her across the ocean and around the world, including all but one province of our very own country. With her family grown and moved on with their own adventures, it was time to expand her travels and her profession. Now working as an independent Travel Consultant, Rochelle has access to all the information in regards to travel. Come hear her great travel stories as she shares the ins and outs of travel, and answer the question, "Should I travel, and is it safe?" Everyone is welcome to come, chat, enjoy a cup of coffee, and explore the Museum. Coffee and Conversation runs from 1 - 3 pm. This is a free event, but donations to the Museum are gratefully accepted, as they do help us "keep the lights on". The Museum is located at 2110 21st Avenue. One of Didsbury's residents, Rochelle Byiers, will be sharing some of her experiences as a great navigator of spectacular vacation spots!
