Host: Town of Didsbury Events and Programming
Description: CP Rail's Holiday Train will pull into Didsbury on Friday, December 13th, as part of their pre-Christmas tour of Alberta and efforts to raise food and money for community food banks. After about half an hour of singing and visiting, around 4:15 pm the train will head south to Airdrie and then spend Saturday in Calgary. Since 1999, the CP Holiday Train has raised more than $24.3 million and 5.3 million pounds of food for North American food banks. All donations raised at a Holiday Train stop remain in that community. Music will be by Magic! and Sofia Camara. Make sure you include the Didsbury Museum to see the trains hosted by the Mountain View Model Railroad Club.
